Broken ~(POEM - 2020)

Sat on a crooked bench,
thought I could clear up the dense.
Open wide was a glass pane,
inward blew an empty pain.
Wacky as it may sound,
but deep down it went out of bound.
Dancing in the devil's den,
thought I had won the game.
Tears rolled down the eye,
never thought I had to say goodbye.

All was great till the lie,
came up all the way.
Didn't mean to pitch it that way,
but was splashed like hay.
The light got dark,
and left a big mark.
Day and night it puffed up,
But all I could do is to leave off.
Pretty are those who smile
and laugh even if heaven's dark.
